What the hell is this???!!! You drew me short and fat and ugly!! I am so going to kill you!!!

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

What? I don't understand. I did what the script said.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

The script did NOT tell you to make me a short, fat, ugly lump!!! Meanwhile you made yourself look gorgeous!!!! The cartoon doesn't even make sense because you were supposed to look bad!!

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

Well, I am gorgeous. But I did do what O.D.'s script said. It said to play up the differences between us.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

The differences in skin color and clothing choices!!! We were just supposed to clash horribly and look garish!

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

I think you misunderstood the script.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

I misunderstood the script?? You're scalloping the wrong shell this time, sweetheart. I quote from O.D.'s script:

So the two ladies are wearing each other's outfits, standing next to each other in a sort of awkward way, perhaps vaguely reminiscent of Waiting for Godot but with some echo of Kafka present. Perhaps the background colors could bespeak a gathering danger, as though a storm is just off the coast but not yet pelting the mainland with nasty cold rain. Sort of a Manet vs. Matisse thing, I suppose, but ironic, please, ironic!! Furthermore there should be a sense of eternal time passing, like shadows cutting the wall in a sort of cosmic curtain coming down. But subtle!! The key to making the whole thing is chromatographic difference. Pop the highs and the lows... ("Trade Imbalance" script version 2.3, by O.D., page 7, paragraph 2)

You see???!!!

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

Yes, I do see: "Pop the highs and the lows". I'm taller than you. Pretty simple.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

The high and low color tones!!!!!

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

OH. I'm so sorry, Maya. It's just that the script sort of confused me. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Maybe O.D. needs to make the scripts a little simpler.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

Hey, don't bring me into this! There was never a problem with my scripts before... B.L. always understood them. I can only write the way I write.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterO.D.

I don't know, O.D... maybe she has a point. You can be a little verbose. The scripts really should be industry standard, understandable by an eight-year-old.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

Who are you calling verbose??

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterO.D.

Are you calling me an eight-year-old?!

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

Oh, for chrissake. Are you two being obtuse on purpose?

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

Oh, so now I'm obtuse and verbose? Or is it vertuse and obbose?

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterO.D.

I don't understand what O.D. is saying. But I think I understand what you're saying, Maya. And I can't say I like it.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMiz Ro

Biological fight! Biological fight!! (Starts the videotape).

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterComa

Coma, shut the hell up. Ro, you flat-out made me look bad.

June 14, 2010 | Registered CommenterMaya

Okay, everyone, take it easy. We'll talk about it tomorrow and get it all sorted out. I'm sure nobody meant anything.
