The New Blog

For the first time, I've added a direct real-world blog to the site. I did this in part to increase the accessibility of this project, and in part to give myself a published voice that author Brian Gonzalez has lacked since character B.L. Gonzalez "quit" the strip.

There have not been substantial changes to the site since I last published. The new features I was trying out did not actually improve the site any, while adding the possibility of bizarre unexpected changes occurring without my knowledge.

The biggest challenge in publishing this experimental comic (other than getting readers!) is the problem of advancing the narrative at a satisfying pace while still having time and space to experiment and try out new ideas. I have some techniques to solve this that I'll be trying out in the near future; as always in an evolving art project, some of these will work and some will fail. But I'm not satisfied with the current pace and am sure readers would appreciate a more urgent dynamic driving the storyline. That will be my focus for the immediate future.

As always, thank you all for your readership. It's a strange world here in the Kewbist spaces, and I appreciate those of you who are willing to navigate its odd and shifting landscape.
