Update July 21, 2010: I anticipate being able to publish again before the end of this workweek.

Update July 18, 2010: The insurance company has found us a new place but it will be up to a week before we can get in, and it will take some time before I have a studio set up even when we're in.

It is however my intent to begin publishing again before that if possible.

Kewbism will be publishing sporadically over the next couple of weeks due to a house fire which has left my residence unlivable.

My family and I are perfectly safe, but at present I have no scanner, no reliable internet access, and all 4 of us are reduced to sharing a single laptop PC (and a single hotel room until Allstate finds us a house). This as you might imagine makes it extremely difficult to work, especially as we are spending time meeting with insurance adjustors and fire investigators as well as dealing with many bothersome phone calls.

As Kewbism is neither a hobby nor a vocation but rather a passion, it is my intention to start publishing again as soon as is possible. The characters are very real to me and I have no desire to leave them in limbo.

On an ironic note, today is my birthday. Originally today's post was to be the cast members missing the fictional B.L. on his birthday... but instead it is I missing them.

Many thanks to all our readers who expressed sympathy or offered help. We are all well, even the pets, but I will not feel whole again until I can get back to writing and producing Kewbism on a regular basis.
